Artifact
This artifact is a photograph of my phone, symbolising communication between my peers.
Self-Reflection and context of outcomes
I am an encourager and supporter through listening to my peers.
Sometimes the conversation is about our upcoming career as teachers,
sometimes the conversation is about life outside of our careers.
There is nothing better in a day than to be able to support a peer
with an open ear....except of course encouraging and supporting a
student in my classroom!
artifact
This artifact represents my first career of 22 years as a Registered Massage Therapist, RMT.
self-reflection and context of outcomes
My expertise as an RMT of 22 years has been around body mechanics
and ergonomics. I offer my advice to anyone who asks at school about
their aches or pains. I encourage taking care of their bodies such as
bending knees while standing on unforgiving classroom floors. I don't
push my advice, but wait to be asked. I would be delighted to
oblige, if any school wants an ergonomics seminar.
